Cross Training (Weston, WI)

In  Matthew 16:24 Jesus tells us “If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow Me.”  Cross Training gives participants the opportunity to develop,  practice and apply this to their personal faith journey.  

Participants will stretch themselves each day setting their focus on serving others.  They will engage in acts of service projects such as painting, landscaping and cleaning. Participants have the opportunity to develop in relational ministry through conversation and relationship building with the people we serve each day at worksites,  as well as the Host Homes they stay in.  Each day participants will find themselves growing in the Word. Mornings start  with personal discovery and reflection devotions.  Mid day lunch is paired with small group devotion time. Days close with song and experiential worship. Evenings are planned for fellowship through fun activities to further build bonds and relationships with current friends. as well as make new friendships from other LCMS peers attending the event.  From arrival to departure all costs are included. Participants will not need money to spend.
